JBL® Everest™ 700 is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 106.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound quality and feel for a budget price I bought these because I was able to pick them up for a good price. I had read a number of reviews and from sound quality these rated well but I did read a few negatives mainly around the sound lag for use with video. When I first took these out of the box and gave them a try I did also experience these issues. However I did the smart thing and checked out HID the update software for Harman products and installed the latest firmware. The ones I got still had the outdated 1.1 v firmware. Once I updated to the 3.1 v firmware BANG the sound lag pretty much gone and watching video through these became absolutely tolerable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love em I got these the other day at best buy it was the last pair they had. I got home charged them up and then connected them to my galaxy s5. After listening to a few songs I paired it with my watch, it only pairs with one item at a time, and again loved the clarity and range. I synced yet again to my phone and fire up hulu to find a long lag between audio and video. At least one second but closer to two. It is annoying so i try youtube, amazon and netflix and all the same, lagging audio to video. I'm giving it four stars but not recommending these to friends until they fix this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable great sounding Headphones I’ve had my Everest 700’s for a year now. The sound reproduction is excellent, good bass and all sound frequencies. The only negative for me is they get uncomfortable after a few hours of use

Rated 2 out of 5 by from So close, but so far. I was so excited to buy these yesterday, they seemed like everything I could ever want. I figured it might only be able to pair with one device at a time, but I didn't realize how much of a hassle it would be. I had to forget the device, not just disconnect every time I wanted to switch. That was something I could handle, but now, maybe 29 hours into owning this headphone, it won't connect with ANY devices it had before, and when it turns on it doesn't even offer the alert that it is ready to pair. If there was a way to fix these, it'd have a 5 star review from me, but those are pretty essential problems. It feels like I wasted $200.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Alright! The Bluetooth is good, the sound quality is great, and about the comfort I would only complain about how they start to feel heavy after wearing them for a long period of time but in my opinion that is kind of a given especially since these are my first pair of headphones. Everything else about its comfort is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 stars provided you're using the v1.8 firmware These headphones sound great. Really impressed with the range they can push and for the price/feature set it's a no brainer. Keep in mind unless you upgrade the firmware to 1.8 (maybe earlier versions work?) there is a 0.5 - 1 second audio delay so trying to watch video is a no go. Once upgraded to version 1.8 the issue immediately disappeared.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Headphones I bought the headphones on Black Friday and charged them over night. I've been using them a lot and the battery is still at halfway after almost 2 weeks, so the batteries are great. The only thing I have issues with is that when I'm listening to music on my iPhone 6s, the music stops and then the lady's voice says connected and the music skips occasionally. My phone was in my pocket so it shouldn't have been out of range. Another issue I've had would be the button placements on the back of the headphones because when I adjust the headphones I kept hitting buttons on accident. Almost always I hit the pairing button which makes it disconnect with what I am using, which is annoying. These are minor flaws but other than that, the Everest 700 headphones are great.

Could my boys use these headphones to connect to xbox one s and talk w/ friends while gaming?

Asked by: JesseJames51
Yes it can but since most of our bluetooth headphones are designed more on Music and not video, please do expect latency when playing videos/watching tv/gaming. I would suggest using a wired connection when connecting to avoid the said issues.

Just picked up a pair of Everest 700 headphones.  I have the headphones paired with an iPhone X but the lowest volume is still way too high.  Is there a way can can decrease the volume independently of the iPhone volume?

Asked by: cfrench
The volume controls on the phone and on the earphones are separate. If you have your volume on the headphones on the lowest but have your Iphone's volume at the max. It would still be loud and you can adjust the Iphone's volume to decrease or increase the volume.
